Ian McMillan serves as a Coastal Region Director. He has managed an extensive number of projects in every division, ranging from multifamily hardscapes to large scale industrial facilities. For the past several years, he has primarily focused on tilt up construction, managing over 8 million sf of warehouse and industrial tilt up work. Since the beginning of 2025, he has also begun to focus on business development along the coast.
Ian graduated from The Citadel with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2014 and then went on to earn an M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. He initially worked as a field engineer for Hayward Baker focusing on deep foundations before joining GGC in 2018 and making a pivot to the world of concrete.
Ian and his wife Sadie live in his hometown, Charleston SC. When he isn’t working, he enjoys being on the water, in the mountains, reading a book or playing the fiddle if the mood strikes.
