Turano Baking Expansion

The Turano Baking Expansion project reflects the continued growth of high-performance food production facilities across the Southeast. Designed by Atlas Collaborative and delivered in partnership with Evans General Contractors, this expansion supports increased production capacity while maintaining the efficiency and durability required for modern industrial operations.

Greater Georgia Concrete played a key role in delivering a clean, precise concrete package to support both production and operational flow within the facility. The project required disciplined execution and coordination to meet the demands of an active industrial environment.

Our Scope Included

A focused industrial concrete scope featuring:

  • 110 tons of reinforcing steel
  • 135,900 SF of slab-on-grade concrete
  • 25,000 SF of slab-on-metal deck

Each phase was executed with attention to quality and sequencing, ensuring the structure meets the performance requirements of a high-volume production facility.

Delivering Greater Impact

The Turano Baking Expansion demonstrates GGC’s ability to support specialized industrial environments where durability, cleanliness, and performance are critical. From large-scale slab placements to elevated systems, our team delivered a foundation built to support long-term production and operational efficiency.

This project reinforces our role as a trusted partner for industrial expansions, bringing experience, reliability, and execution that keeps projects moving forward.
