Riverport 8 Logistics
The Riverport 8 Logistics project marks a major investment in distribution and logistics infrastructure in the Lowcountry, reinforcing South Carolina's expanding presence in warehousing and supply chain operations. Situated in Hardeeville, South Carolina, this large-scale facility was built to serve the demands of high-volume distribution—prioritizing capacity, durability, and long-term performance throughout the build.
Greater Georgia Concrete teamed with Evans General Contractors to deliver a complete concrete package for this expansive industrial facility, designed by LS3P. The work called for disciplined coordination, seasoned field leadership, and the capacity to carry out extensive slab, paving, and tilt-up construction efficiently from start to finish.

Our Scope Included
A comprehensive industrial concrete scope valued at $8.1 million, including:
- 457,000 SF of slab-on-grade concrete
- 160,956 SF of concrete paving
- 111,007 SF of tilt-up wall panels
- 378 tons of reinforcing steel installed
- 145 spread footings
The project's size and complexity required precise sequencing and steady execution to meet the facility's demanding operational goals.
Delivering Greater Impact
The investment in Riverport 8 Logistics reflects a broader commitment to strengthening the region's distribution and logistics network. By completing more than 728,000 square feet of combined slab, paving, and tilt-up concrete construction, GGC played a pivotal role in delivering a facility engineered for high-volume operations and sustained growth.
This project highlights our strength in supporting large-scale industrial environments—bringing hands-on experience, tight coordination, and dependable execution to the developments shaping the region's future.
