As part of Amazon’s rapid logistics expansion, Greater Georgia Concrete partnered with Choate Construction to deliver a fast-track tilt-wall concrete scope for a new distribution center in Doraville, GA. The project required precise planning, a high-volume pour schedule, and efficient panel erection to meet aggressive timelines for one of the world’s largest e-commerce brands.
Our Scope Included
- 121,199 SF of slab-on-grade concrete
- 56,531 SF of tilt-wall panels
- 6,223 SF of sidewalks
- 3,530 CY of concrete placed
- 152 tons of rebar
- 63 tilt panels erected in a single day
Delivering Greater Impact
This project showcased GGC’s ability to scale and execute complex tilt-wall systems under demanding schedules. Erecting 63 panels in a single day was a milestone moment for the team—highlighting our coordinated manpower, experienced crews, and trusted process. The Doraville distribution center now plays a key role in Amazon’s Southeast logistics network, with GGC at the foundation of its success.
