Sewon America, the largest automotive body parts manufacturing plant in North America, is expanding its footprint with a new state-of-the-art facility in Rincon, Georgia. Designed to advance cutting-edge automated manufacturing and logistics, the plant will strengthen Sewon’s U.S. presence while creating over 740 new jobs.
Our Scope Included
- This large-scale, design-build project showcased GGC’s ability to manage complexity and deliver results with precision and speed. Our work spanned full tilt-up concrete construction for the press building, tilt building, and extensive site paving—requiring strategic coordination and peak manpower to meet ambitious goals.

- 19,828 SF of press pit walls poured single-sided against sheet piles using EFCO systems
- 18,778 SF of tunnel walls
- Complex, simultaneous work across multiple areas, supported by 5 superintendents and over 100+ skilled workers on site during peak activity
Through seamless coordination, we maintained schedule even in the face of ongoing design-build adjustments—ultimately delivering a facility that supports one of North America’s largest automotive body parts manufacturers in achieving operational excellence.
