GF Artemis Manufacturing Facility
The GF Artemis project represents a major investment in advanced manufacturing within the Southeast, supporting the continued growth of the automotive industry. Located in Augusta, Georgia, this new high-pressure die-casting facility is designed to produce lightweight aluminum components for both electric and conventional vehicles—placing performance, precision, and durability at the forefront of the build. GF Casting Solutions, a division of the Swiss firm Georg Fischer AG, is investing $184 million in the plant, which is scheduled to open in 2027 and is expected to create approximately 350 jobs.
Greater Georgia Concrete partnered with Evans General Contractors to deliver a comprehensive concrete package for this large-scale industrial facility, designed by PEA Mainstay Company. The project required disciplined coordination, experienced field leadership, and the ability to execute expansive slab and tilt-up construction efficiently over an extended schedule.

Our Scope Included
A full industrial concrete scope valued at $10.4 million and delivered over approximately 11 months, featuring:
- 299,490 SF of slab-on-grade concrete
- 174,875 SF of tilt-up wall panels
- 560 tons of reinforcing steel installed
- Tilt-up panel erection completed in approximately one month
The scale and complexity of the facility demanded careful sequencing and consistent execution to support the plant's long-term operational needs.
Delivering Greater Impact
GF Casting Solutions’ investment in Augusta reflects a commitment to innovation, job creation, and the future of automotive manufacturing. By delivering more than 474,000 square feet of concrete construction, GGC played a critical role in creating a facility built for high-performance production and long-term growth.
This project showcases our ability to support advanced manufacturing environments—bringing experience, coordination, and proven execution to industrial projects that shape the future of the region.
