A Night to Remember: GCC Spring Fling 2026

Once a year, the GCC team trades hard hats and work boots for their finest attire — and this spring was no exception. On Saturday, April 18th, the team gathered at the Hilton Northeast Atlanta for an evening of celebration, connection, and well-deserved recognition. GCC covered the night in full, from the hotel stay to the festivities, giving everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the company of their colleagues in style.
The Spring Fling has become one of the most anticipated events on the GCC calendar — a moment to step away from the day-to-day and reflect on just how much this team accomplishes together. This year's event brought that tradition to life in a big way.
Recognizing our best
The highlight of every Spring Fling is the awards ceremony — three honors given to individuals who embody what GCC stands for. This year, three exceptional people took the stage.
Annual Safety Award

Tracy Kitchens
This award goes to an employee who holds safety to the highest standard — not just for themselves, but for everyone around them. Tracy has been a true champion on the jobsite, leading by example and helping GCC deliver projects that everyone comes home from safely.
Stewart Evans Award

Paul Lemay
Named in honor of our late partner Stewart Evans, who was taken from us too soon in a tragic ski accident, this award is given to someone who reflects Stewart's spirit — a deep passion for helping others and a generosity that touched everyone he worked with. Paul carries those traits every single day, and we are proud to recognize him with this honor.
Pall Mandall Award

Chris Salmon
In honor of GCC's founder Paul Mandall, this award recognizes a field supervisor who runs a job site with exceptional skill — someone who exceeds client expectations, earns the respect of office staff, and is known throughout the company as a leader worth following. Chris Salmon is exactly that person, and this recognition is richly deserved.

From the moment guests arrived to the last song of the night, the energy in the room was something special. Dressed up and ready to celebrate, the GCC team filled the Hilton with laughter, great conversations, and memories worth keeping.
To Tracy, Paul, and Chris — congratulations. And to everyone who came out and made the night what it was: thank you. Here's to the team that shows up every day and makes GCC what it is.
